Welcome to Stronghold Ministries Net. My name is Rev. Don Carpenter, and I hope you will enjoy this SMN web-site. Because of being an older site now, some areas are not working properly. Hopefully soon, I will be able to rebuild this site. Thanks for your patience. There are, and will be, many new and different pages (over time) on this site. However, there are still some of your old favorites I'm sure you've enjoyed also.
We will be sharing many joys, and I'm sure some tears, in the year to come; be it God's will. As we reach out to the world with The Gospel of Jesus Christ, never let us forget what God's Gospel is all about. Let each and everyone of us that believes in the saving grace of Jesus Christ, become more bravely involved in the act of giving and sharing this Gospel we hold onto so dearly. Remember, this Gospel is to be shared with others, and not to just hold onto in a selfish manner. So, give it out abundantly and joyously, and may the Lord bless you for it.
Stronghold
You might ask: What is a stronghold? One definition of stronghold is: A place of security; a fortified place; a fort; a castle [1913 Webster]. Strongholds can either be of a Godly nature or, a demonic stronghold.
Here is a statement by Cindy Jacobs on what a [demonic] stronghold is: A stronghold is a fortified place that Satan builds to exalt himself against the knowledge and plans of God. Satan cleverly cloaks strongholds under the guise of culture [taken from a book called--Breaking Strongholds In Your City]--Edited By: C. Peter Wagner--Published by: Regal Books.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who believes in the power of God's Holy Spirit, and wants to get more involved in Spiritual Warfare.
As is the duty of todays Christian Church, so it is here at Stronghold Ministries Net, to be involved in the battle around us. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds..[2 Corinthians 10:4]
