Testimony of D. F. Carpenter:

Well, don't know exactly what to tell other than I love the Lord, music and fast cars. You would think at 75 years young I wouldn't still have a thing for cars. Hey what can I say? Cars replaced music at the age of fourteen when I built my first drag car. At twelve or thirteen, I was close to becoming a concert style piano player (boring--at the time). Got back into music in high school with a rock band for a short while. Was basically a see saw motion until the early 70's, then I really blew it with the Drug Scene; what a waste of twenty + years! Oh well, since I gave my life to Christ in 92', a lot of changes in my life. The Lord pulled me up out of the pit of Hell its-self. Thank you Lord. He put me back into music, which was quite a surprise to me, and next thing I know, I'm writing songs with music and lyrics and worshiping Him with and in song. Lead a Praise & Worship team for 5 or 6 years. Big change huh. Been married for 40+ years (at this typing) with two grown children, (oh by the way, 4 grandsons and 1 grand-daughter so far), who are themselves very talented in the music field. Makes a dad proud. A few years ago the Lord blessed me with a new computer and a studio program. Learned how to do some recording (I still like live recordings best, you can capture God's anointing in the singers and musicians). Totally Cool! I also have been learning to compose now; boy that's a lot of work doing all the instrumentation yourself! IF I ONLY HAD A VOICE! Oh woe with me. Ha Ha not really. Hey God has blessed me, but I ain't that talented. The computer has most of what I don't, well except a good vocalist. That's it in a nut. I mean in a nutshell.

Hey! If Jesus saved me form the pit of hell, He can do it for you too; all you got to do is ask Him...
